Four to five weeks old is an exciting time but also a critical time in puppy development as they transition to eating solid food. Sadly, we lost our little Tardy puppy this week because of a gastrointestinal defect that showed up with weaning. We are heartbroken but will remember her as a happy little puppy who loved cuddling.
Treasure, Taco, Tilly and Toffee are eating well and growing fast. Nellie is a great mom and still cleans her babies and plays with them, but is teaching them that she is off limits now as far as feeding goes.
