Eating - Sleeping - Growing!
That's the puppies job during their first week. All are doing well and gaining about two ounces a day. We had a challenge naming them according to the breed's tradition of using a certain letter for all puppies born in a particular year. The letter "U" for 2023 isn't an easy one for names! We decided on Una and Unon for the firstborn girl and boy. The rest involved creative spelling but easy call names and nicknames: Uray, (the name of a city in Colorado) will be "Ray"; Ugene called by his name or "Gene"; Ubert, nickname "Bert"; and finally Urnie. 😄 They are sure to be a fun puppy pack!
